I’m currently reading the autobiography of Paul Poiret which I bought after I recently saw the Ballets Russes show at the V&A. I’m just in the section where he describes wonderfully the Parisian world of the artists and illustrators he collaborated with including Paul Iribe and Georges Lepape. I thought this was a good as an excuse as any to take another look at their wonderful work too.
